A Tracheostomy Cuff Inflator and Manometer is used to check the Tracheal Cuff Pressure inside the trachea. It is significant to check the pressure of the cuff every shift to prevent trauma in the lining of the tracheal mucosa (caused by increased in the cuff pressure) and/or tracheal dislodgement (caused by decreased in the cuff pressure + stimulant). The usual pressure ranges from 20-30 mmHg depending on the healthcare facility protocol.
